Catering

The menu has been carefully put together by Martijn, using local products and traditional dishes.

Our cooking is from scratch, not using any processed or pre-cooked foods or products.

Eat well. Drink well. Be merry.

In winter Chalet L’Aiguille Grive, Chalet Petit Saint Bernard, Chalet La Grange d’Alice, Le Chazalet, Chalet Alconquin, Les Mélèzes-Sud
are fully catered chalets offering breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner.

We provide a healthy, balanced four-course meal. A starter, main course, cheese and dessert. We use locally sourced products (also to support our local shops) from the best butcher, bakery and vegetable shops.  Wine and beer are included during diner. Coffee and tea are complementary during the day. We are happy to cater to any food allergies or dietary restrictions and we have a special children’s menu. Children’s meals are usually served around 18.30hrs.

Be advised that we cater 6 out of a 7 nights booking. Staff day off is on Tuesday or Wednesday.
On those days we do not serve a hot breakfast (there will be a breakfast buffet) and afternoon tea and there will be no bedroom cleaning that day.
Please ask your chalet host to help you organise an evening reservation for one of the lovely restaurants in the area,
as well as transportation to and from on those nights. We can assist in booking a nanny/baby sit service.
In high season weeks it is advised to book a restaurant early on in your stay.

Breakfast

consists of a selection of cereals, yoghurt, bread, jam, honey etc. and a daily cooked hot dish. Tea, coffee and fruit juice are available.

Afternoon tea

after a good day on the slopes is available on a ‘self service’ basis, and includes a freshly baked cake, scones, etc. with tea and coffee.

Dinner

we offer real chalet food. Tasty, well-cooked and nicely presented food is our passion. All the food served in the chalet is home-cooked, no processed or pre-cooked food is used. During dinner we serve wine and beer free of charge (fair use).

Drinks

included during your stay are wine/beer during dinner, coffee and tea. For the remainder of the drinks, luxury wines, champagne, shots and snacks we use the Honesty Bar system (paid for in cash to our staff at the end of your stay – don’t forget to include a tip for this hard working team).
