Le Grand Saint Bernard is a self-catering chalet apartment for 8 people.

10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of Arc 1600, which has many shops, bars and restaurants. You will go past the bus stop for free shuttles to Arc 2000, Arc 1950 and Arc 1800.

In winter, in the mornings you can ski down to les Granges via the easy blue run ‘Bois de Saule’, to the mid-stop of the funicular which takes you up to Arc1600 in 4 minutes. Or you use our free ski shuttle bus. In the afternoon you ski to the door from Arc1600. Find le Grand Saint Bernard (same location as our Le Petit Saint Bernard) on  Google Maps.

This self-catered chalet apartment offers 4 ensuite bedrooms (two twins and two doubles). A very large open plan kitchen, dining, living area. A lovely open fire contributes to the Alpine, cozy atmosphere. In this space you’ll also find a separate bar area. A mezzanine offers additional space to play games, watch TV or work. It has a large working desk. In the hallway you’ll find an additional single toilet (all bedroom bathrooms have toilets). There is space to put a cot or an extra bed in the twin rooms.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with fondue and raclette sets and a Nespresso machine. Free WiFi throughout the chalet and Chromecast on the living room TV.
There is plenty of car-free playing space in and around Courbaton and plenty for children to explore.

For groups up to 18, we recommend renting the downstairs apartment Le Petit Saint Bernard. This sleeps 10 over 5 bedrooms. There are separate entrances, but this way multiple families can vacation together in this magical mountain village just below Arc1600.
