Chalet La Grange d’Alice
Chalet La Grange d’Alice is a catered chalet for groups up to 14 people.
It can be booked exclusively or per room. Located at Les Granges, overlooking the Tarentaise Valley, la Grange is a fairy tale like chalet with modern amenities.
You can literally ski right up to the door
because of its ski-in location and put your skis in the adjacent ski room before pulling off
your boots and entering the cozy living room.

La Grange d’Alice is a genuine 200 year-old ‘chalet d’alpage’ that has been carefully restored using old, locally sourced materials, it also boasts new fittings and modern facilities such as solar-powered under-floor heating. On the ground floor you’ll find the large open plan kitchen/dining/living area and a twin and double bedroom. Both ensuite.
There’s underfloor heating throughout the ground floor (mainly solar powered). The dining room has a door leading to
a large decked terrace facing south from the chalet and there is an 8 person heated hot tub.
On the first floor a further three twin bedrooms and a family room (sleeps 4) are located. The family room and one twin bedroom have their own ensuite shower rooms. The large bathroom with tub is shared between the other two twin bedrooms.
Next to the bathroom there is a sauna free of use and two toilets.
On this floor there is a kids’ space set up with a TV and Chromecast. Free WiFi throughout the chalet.
Large glazed doors leading from the upstairs lounge area to a long balcony with views towards La Plagne and Valmorel. The feeling is airy and spacious, with old wood from the local forest used throughout, and a few other quirky surprises!
The chalet is in a ski in – lift in&out location with a quick 150 m walk to the funicular which takes you up to Arc1600 in just 4 minutes
(or down to Bourg Saint Maurice in also 4 minutes).
In the afternoon you can ski right back to the chalet via a blue or red slope.

We create ski passes on site, ready on arrival, this service is free, check this page for information. The price depends on the pass that you choose.
