Please note that winter tires are obligatory in France in winter. Read about it here. You have to have them on your vehicle and also carry a yellow safety vest in your car. Also carry snow chains (and know how to use them), or even better, snow socks. Snow socks are much easier to use than chains and on and off within minutes. You can order them online or the SuperU in Bourg Saint Maurice sells them (know the size of your tires).
Most flights go to and from Geneva as well as other airports such as Lyon or Grenoble. To keep communication short, it is easiest you arrange transport yourself by selecting one of the options below. Fill in your flight details, dates and no. of people and you get a direct price quote and option to book. Of course we are happy to arrange for you if needed.
Guests arriving early on Saturday (or Sunday) morning may have a light breakfast, wash and change before going skiing, but access to rooms will not be possible before the check-in time of 4 p.m.Guests departing late on Saturday (or Sunday) may store their baggage at the chalet (having vacated rooms by 9 a.m.) for collection later, but dinner will not normally be available in the evening.
Please note that we only work with quality transfer operators and that they always allow a reasonable time margin to take account of unexpected traffic or weather conditions, but ultimately we cannot guarantee airport arrival times and we cannot take responsibility or assume any liability for missed, late or cancelled flights.
We normally arrange free transfers from the Eurostar/TGV station at Bourg St Maurice. The new low fares (from most major European cities) by OUIGO by SNCF can be found on their website. Or use the RailEurope website.
